Leader Operator Assisted provides streamlined conference entry on Event calls by allowing participants to join in an automated manner while continuing to offer conference leaders the high touch experience provided by an operator. At the scheduled time participants dial the participant conference access number and are prompted to enter the participant Passcode and Registrant ID (if Participant Report is a selected feature). Participants will then be joined to the conference. Leaders will dial a separate leader conference access number and will be greeted by an operator who will join them to a sub conference. The operator will transfer the Leader(s) to the main conference to begin the conference.

Participant information is captured during the optional registration process for leaders who wish to receive a Participant Report.

  • Passcode Expedited Call Entry Participants enter a passcode and are placed into the call automatically without the assistance of an Operator streamlining the process and reducing hold times on your call’s front end.
  • Separate Dial-In Numbers Call leaders and participants dial into separate numbers ensuring that everyone gets where they need to be in the most efficient manner possible.
  • Optional Call Registration Leader Operator Assisted Registration provides you the opportunity to collect information about your audience prior to the call. PIN code identifiers given to each participant upon registration enable you to determine exactly who was on your call without having to collect information as participants dial in.

Custom Scripting may be provided by the customer to replace or augment any script available during the conference.

Dial-In

Three access options are available for dialing into a conference.  (Leader selects these options during the reservation process.)

Toll Access: A 706 number is provided for local or International participants.

Toll-Free Access: Toll-free number is permanently assigned to owner.

ITFS: International toll-free number is available from select countries.

Dial-Out

Ten minutes prior to call start time, Operators call Participants from a list provided during reservations and join them to the conference.

Direct Entry

Participants are placed directly into the conference and may communicate with each other prior to the Leader joining.

Email/Fax Confirmation

Automated reservation confirmation is sent to the contact after the reservation is scheduled.

Entry/Exit Tone

Tone plays when each Participant joins or leaves the conference.

Leader First

Leader is joined to the conference before any Participants.

Leader Last

Leader is joined to the conference after all Participants have joined, at the request of the Leader, or at the conference's scheduled start time.

Name Announce

Operator announces each Participant's name as they are joined to the conference.

Music Entry

Participants are placed on music hold until the Leader joins the conference.

Password

Participants are required to provide a valid password in order to join the conference. Leader specifies the password during the reservation.

Roll Call

Operator recites the names of Participants who are in the conference. Roll Call is executed after the Leader joins the call.

Special Annunciator

Participants are greeted by a customized announcement, which is played while Participants are on hold for that specific conference. 




Surround-the-Call Options

Feature

Description

Broadcast

Information is simultaneously distributed to Participants via email, fax, or voice.

Call Registration

Participants register for an event by dialing a unique toll-free number and responding to information requested by the provider representative on behalf of the customer. Information is built in an Access database. 

Call Transcription

Call is transcribed from audio to text and delivered via email or paper and diskette to the contact specified on the reservation within 48 business hours (standard) or 24 business hours (rush).

CD

Conference is recorded to CD and sent to the call Leader.

Communication Line

Leader communicates privately with the Operator and/or additional personnel outside of the main conference in a separate communication line.

Digital Recording Studio

Communication is digitally recorded directly into Encore for future replay without having or recording a conference call. (Reservation is required.)

Record

Conference is digitally recorded for future replay. Replay is available by dialing a toll or toll-free Encore number.

Record Plus

Responses are captured from voting or polling specified in an Encore playback.

Record Emporium

Dedicated toll-free number routes Participants to a menu and script customized by the customer. A menu of options is available via touch-tone commands.

Record Report

Participant information is requested and recorded prior to or after the Encore replay, then sent to the Leader as a transcribed record generally at the end of the replay period.

Participant Report

Participant list with call information is sent to the Leader after the conference.  Call information includes participant names, line times, and up to 4 additional pieces of information specified by the leader.

Leader-View

Real-time Participant information is displayed to the Leader via a Web application while the conference is in progress.

Playback

Offers customers the convenience of listening to their conferences at a later time.

Polling

Leader can survey Participants by asking pre-determined questions, which Participants may answer by "voting" with a specific number on the telephone keypad.  Results are sent to the Leader after the call.

Promotional Tape

Leader provides a promotional tape to InterCall, which is played for Participants prior to joining the conference.

Q&A

Operator facilitates a Question and Answer session by recognizing and un-muting Participants one at a time so they may ask a question in conference.

Sub Conference

Pre-selected Participants and/or Leader can talk together in a sub-conference without Participants in the main conference hearing them.  May be used prior to the conference starting, or during the conference as break out sessions.

Taping

Conference is recorded to cassette tape, micro-cassette tape, or D.A.T. tape and sent to the call Leader.

Streaming

Provides live broadcast of the conference over the Internet and/or archive of the conference for later replay via the Internet.
